Dear Minnan folks in Australia:
Mid-Autumn Festival is approaching Another year when the full moon is full of love In the Mid-Autumn Festival, folk customs such as appreciating the moon, osmanthus, and playing with lanterns are indispensable. In southern Fujian, the Mid-Autumn Festival cake event has been passed down to this day. The post-epidemic era is another time to get together. We will regain the joy and emotion of the past and witness each other’s growth and changes. The AMA aims to promote traditional Chinese culture, especially Minnan culture, to provide a platform for communication for folks from southern Fujian in Australia, and to contribute to enriching the cultural and recreational life of the folks.
As agreed by the Mid-Autumn Festival preparatory group, the 2022 Bo cake and Mid-Autumn Festival Gala will be held on September 4 with more enthusiasm and higher standards.
There will also be exciting performances, red envelopes with holiday greetings for the elders at the scene, and exciting lucky draws. All villagers are welcome to participate.
